1. Sage Agasthiya
It is said that Saint Agasthiya was the Saint who lived 17 thousands years ago in Lemuria civilization.
In legend, he was both a director of the Royal library and a doctor, also performing guidance in Yoga.
Even today?medicines and remedies that he allegedly created have been passed down with his name. Pharmacies in the town called Madurai of South India invariably hang portraits of Agasthiya. Still today there are companies and towns named after him, such as Agasthiya residential street and Agasthiya Hotel Group.
There are also some wild flowers named after him.
In his later life, he abandoned all of his professions, and entered the way to spiritual enlightenment. |
